Westweg — Black Forest End-to-End
The Westweg (Red Diamond Trail) is one of Germany’s oldest and most celebrated long-distance footpaths, tracing the spine of the Black Forest for 285 km from Pforzheim in the north to Basel on the Rhine. Marked by its iconic red diamond blazes, the trail passes through dense fir forests, open summits, and traditional farmsteads, with the High Black Forest section around the Feldberg offering the finest views.
